Because we went to the Boris' garden in the wrong day, we didn't find any origami teachers, or Japanese girls, we had to go back there. Today we were a bit late but we manage to make few origami figures. The teachers were leaving, but were helpful enough to show us how to make origami animals. Here are the things that we made :
I made a swan. But I made a mistake during the folding, so it is unable to move its wings. But the boy who showed me how to make gave his to me. I thought origami art was easier. The teacher have there own studio where they give lessons, to people who want to learn how to fold paper. The fact that from one blank piece of paper a man can create a beautiful item is amazing. I'm really glad I had the chance to try this. The girls I was with made star and a butterfly. All of the items we made were very easy, but still wonderful.
We had the opportunity to be taken a photo, dressed like a Japanese girls. They gave us kimonos and two Japanese girls helped us get dressed. It wasn't an easy task. One of the girls was really beautiful. She looked like geisha.
There was a table on which were presented different objects, part of the Japanese lifestyle. There was a game with black and white pieces. They explained to us the rules, but neither one of us remembered anything. That we played with a ball, which wasn't that hard. I even manage to keep the ball still on the wooden part of the toy. There were some cards and other toys, powder-cases, fans for woman and for man.
Here are other origami items, not made by us(except the butterfly) :
