Favorite spot: Dryanovo Monastery

I’m showing you my favorite place near my hometown. I had some precious memories there. I just love going back there. The whole place is so peaceful; it makes me feel free and happy. I love the view from the top. (I’ll show it to you some other time when I get a nice picture of it.) I like going to church there. It’s not the most beautiful church, but it has something special about it. I even think it brings me luck. I can’t wait to go there and have a nice relaxing day far away from Sofia and Turnovo.

Показвам ви любимото ми място близо до Велико Търново. Имам някои много скъпи спомени там и предполагам, че и това прави мястото толкова специално. Мястото е толкова спокойно, караме да се чувствам толкова свободна и щастлива. Обожавам гледката от върха. (Когато намеря хубава снимка от там, ще я постна.) Обичам да ходя на църква там. Не е най-красивата църква, но има нещо особено около нея. Дори мисля, че ми носи късмет. Нямам търпение да се върна там и да прекарам един прекрасен ден на спокойствие, далеч от целия шум на София и Търново.

В търсене на опит

Докато си студент е малко трудно да работиш на пълен работен ден. Но пък след като завършиш за да започнеш работа, в повечето фирми ти искат поне 1-2 години стаж. Почти неосъществимо е. За това реших да се опитам да си намеря стаж. Също нещо не толкова лесно изпълнимо. Просто защото повечето стажантски програми изискват да си поне 3-ти курс. Защото 2-ри курс още не си сериозен и не знаеш какво искаш. Е, как да разбереш какво искаш като никои не ти показва кое какво е. Нали стажовете са именно за това, да ти покажат естеството на работа и ти да решиш дали ти харесва или не. Явно за повечето работодатели това не е точно така. На някои работодатели им трябва просто временно някои студент, които да върши най-лесната работа за малко пари, пък ако може и без пари. Жалко, че в България разбирането за стаж е толкова грешно.

When you are a university student it’s a bit difficult to work full time. But after you graduate and start looking for a job, most of the companies want people with at least 1-2 years experience. It’s almost impossible task. That’s why I started looking for internship. But it’s hard to find an internship too because most of the internship programs require to be at least in you third year in university. If you are second year you are unreliable and you don’t know what you what to work. How do you understand what you want to work if nobody shows you what particular job is. Internships are about showing you the nature of the job so that you can decide whether you like it or not. Apparently, for most employers, this is not true. Some employers hire students to help with the easiest job for little payment or for no payment at all. It’s a shame that in Bulgaria the understanding of internship is so wrong.

The Great Gatsby

On a rainy afternoon few years ago I remember the end of the book The Great Gatsby. I was fascinated by every word in it. I was impressed by this book so much. I was enthralled by the plot and the characters. I just loved the book. Years later on a very hot afternoon I loved the movie as well. I liked it even more. It was one of the best movies I’ve ever watched. It was mostly because of the story it re-created. It was 3D which wasn’t the best quality. But it was still impressive! :)
