Microeconomics

I study Economics & Business in Sofia. I had my exam in Microeconomics today and I want to put an end to my reading books about Microeconomics which I was doing the last 5 days. Two days ago I found a YouTube channel called 'Economists Do It With Models'. I watched couple of videos just to learn what it was about, and it turns out that there is information I can use to help myself prepare for the exam. The information is presented by a girl, who takes her time to explain the basics of Economics. She is talking slowly so that you wouldn’t have any problem understanding her. She uses examples, which by my opinion is the best way to learn anything. The videos I watched helped me to assimilate the information I’ve already read once. I find it easier to remember something when a person tells it to me than when I read it in a book. That’s why I think lessons like these can be very useful for people who don’t like reading much. :)
And here is a video I watched:

Slow Music

One of my favorite song of all time and one of the most touching voices ever from James Blunt. One of the saddest songs as well, but a beautiful one. Hope you enjoy it! :)

Here are two more songs from James Blunt which are as gentle and beautiful as the first one. I love songs like these, so calm, sad, with great lyrics. But sadly there aren't many artists who chose to make so gentle and peaceful songs. They usually raise their voice and by doing this, the song gets loud and annoying. That's why sometimes i prefer covers.
And here are the other songs: James Blunt - You're beautifulJames Blunt - Wisemen

And since I mentioned covers, here is one made by Walk off the Earth

Zoo Adventure

I went to the Zoo in Sofia few weeks ago and two days ago I went again. Here are the photos I took.  Actually it was my first time going to a zoo.  I know it’s a bit strange, because I’m almost 20 and I never had the chance to go there. But now i did and I really liked it. The monkey were really funny you can sit on a bench and watch them climb, fight, eat, etc.  On the whole the Zoo in Sofia is a really nice place for a walk and the entrance fee is only 1lv for students. So if you have a chance, you should spend few hours in the Zoo.

And these cute pelicans welcomed us:

The Meerkats, who were the cutest!

The Jag

A crocodile who was trying to hide from us, but i saw him:

The tiger, who were showing us his tongue:

Two monkeys who were eating apples. I fact all of the monkeys i saw were having apples.

The lazy Hippo

And the King of the Kingdom: The Lion

The Charm of the Football

I chose today to finally publish this post. I was just waiting for a great soccer match. So, I don’t think I have mentioned that I love watching football. It’s been a hobby of mine for the last few years. It started so innocently but went to a bit of obsession a year ago.

I prefer watching Premier League and my favorite team is Arsenal. I started watching mostly Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United, but later I discovered Arsenal. I was totally fascinated by the team and started watching every game they played. I admired the beauty they play with, the united team they are and the way they look on the field.

My passion for soccer came at a time when I wasn’t feeling part of a ‘team’. But when I started to watch and feel every goal and miss I realized I was part of a team. I was part of Arsenal. Every fen is a part of the club he believes and trust in.  And this is a wonderful feeling. That’s why I kept watching every game with a great deal of tension. Honestly sometimes the weekend was the only thing on my mind all week, because I knew that when I sit in front of the TV the world around just stop existing. This was my escape from the real world, a world I disliked at that time. People at my age listen to music, watch films or do sports I watch football to hide from the reality for a moment. There were great moment I will never forget, great victories and some losses. But losing is part of the game.  I remember a wonderful win against Everton with 7-1 at the beginning of the season, the draw with Liverpool (4-4) with Arshavin scoring four goals. And this match against Liverpool was the first time I was so pleased and happy that I cried.

Football taught me how to win, how to lose, how to be patient, how to be grateful, how to believe everything is possible, how to keep the faith despite everything. For that I will be forever thankful to football, Arsenal and all of the players who taught me never to give up!
